Housing Initiatives of New England began in 1990 as a way to provide affordable housing options for seniors in New Hampshire and Maine. It is a nonprofit organization that currently owns 17 complexes, 14 of them throughout New Hampshire.
Coliseum Senior Residence is professionally managed by Stewart Property Management. Stewart manages affordable housing throughout Northern New England. In New Hampshire alone, it manages more than 70 residences in 38 communities.
The original 100 apartments at Coliseum Senior Residence have always been in demand. Phase I rents are determined by income. Affordable rents for Phase II of Coliseum Senior Residence average approximately $900 for 1- and 2-bedroom apartments.
Applicants for Phase II of Coliseum Senior Residence must be at least 55 years old.
